Used to be UKG2, as in UKGold 2, but they decided to change the name.

Some ad exec in red braces and big glasses will be along shortly to explain why....

You say that now, wait for a few months until you've seen them all, twice.... and then it will start to annoy you....

This channel is wall to wall TG...

I think they robbed them all to make the new Sky one replacement for Virgin.

Virgin 1 featuring Star Trek DS9 series one ...

Thank god for dave!

I'm off work coz my knee still won't bend. With Dave I have enough crap to watch all day without doing a single constructive thing with my time off!

I agree. I also enjoyed ABC1.

Here's what happened to it:-

"We regretfully announce that Walt Disney Television will no longer be transmitting abc1 on any of the UK TV platforms (Freeview, cable or satellite) after September 2007. Walt Disney Television would like to thank its viewers for watching the channel and interacting with the website. It's been a great few years and we appreciate your viewership."

It appears the viewing numbers were too low :(

I could live without Sky and Freeview. Remember when people used to moan about repeats? Well we pay Sky a subscription for them to show them again and again.

Hello. I am your authorized ad exec and i'm here to explain. Its simple really.

So tomorow in those "water-cooler minutes" you can say "I was watching that Bottom on Dave last night..."
and your friends will fall about laughing. Cos thats so funny that is. See its simple. Like us.

OK i can understand that UKTVG2 wasnt exactly snappy (i used to tell Mrs Spidey it was called 'that Qi & Red Dwarf channel' myself) BUT why the hell go and call it dave? How can you call a TV station after a person???

What the fu is all that about?!?!? What next, a new weather channel called Tiddles?

Dave has good programmes on true, but not at the expense of UK History, which I'm missing deeply. Is it still out there? Anyone?

Uk History now only broadcasts until 18.00 then closes, shame really have really enjoyed them repeating Sharpe over the last few months
