Do you have one?

Do you want one?

What do you think of people who have them in the rear window?

When I see them I wonder whether they are a genuine biker or a do gooder who likes to moan about things.

Personaly I wouldnt mind getting my hands on one, but wonder whether people will think the latter.

if someone is sitting in traffic behind you and stares at it for 10 minutes before they decide to U-Turn, they might just look and not punt the overtaking bike under the truck coming the other way. i'd have one, where do you get them?

as for the numpty idea, i'd also like a sticker that says "i'd rather be riding my suzuki"

Hmmm. Well I'm more of the opinion that if a driver doesn't notice 200kg of bike heading towards them, they'll probably not notice a think bike sticker.

But then I'm a cynic :geek:

I've noticed them on cars when I've been riding and the drivers tend to move out of your way when you're filtering more than other cars, so I'd say most were displayed by bikers. That said, my gf wants one for her car and she doesn't ride herself.

If anyone is getting any of these (or any other funny/witty/silly/informative car-window stickers) then please let me know, and add me to the list please :)

I want a "Think Bike" sticker please. Or ...

"Are you sat in the outside lane for a reason? F*CKWIT!"

Or maybe ...

Thanks,
Pete

Got one on either of the back side windows of my cage.

I like to think it makes people think about bikes, even if only for a minute or two. You never know it could be the right minute or two that saves a biker.

In Nottingham the fire service has massive posters sat at one of the fire stations which is right on a busy roundabout, which grab real attention. They also have a lot of posters stuck up at the moment around Nottingham on the roads (strangely the route's where you take your bike test) .

I got mine from the school that taught me to ride (Shires)

Yes please, x2 if thats not being greedy and there's a plentiful supply (I'll put one on the wife's cage too). I had searched the web and kept my eye open at bike shows for them, but with no luck. I'll send an SAE if you manage to get your hands on them.

Colin Ainsworth (He rode a silver BMW) spent the most time with me apart from the last day where I was with a guy on a deep red Bandit. Can't remember his name which is a shame as he recommended a SV 650 for me.

Colin was fantastic. I was having serious problems with my U-turns and he took me out for an extra hour to figure it out. Really helped me out.

I was kinda peeved that he was not their on my test day to see me pass.

HA brilliant, Colin is great he took me aswell, for the first 2 days of my DAS we had an african guy who couldnt speak english and never bought his documents, never bothered doing up his helmet etc and was generally a real pain, he then failed his test and had a MAJOR paddy. The last 3 days we were on our own and he took me everywhere.....the perfect bike teacher in my opinion.

Real shame he was not there on your test day, mine was the last test slot at west bridgeford on a friday and everybody before me failed so I was bricking it.

Did he offer you some herbal remedy to calm your nerves? ROFL

I have one now, I saw them on the counter at my local bike shop in Suffolk. I hadn't even thought about them until I saw it in there, I do think that anything that makes people aware of bikes is a good thing.

Most people at work commented on it when I first put it in my car so obviously people do notice them.

Having a sticker like this in your car also signals to bikes when behind you that your bike friendly or a fellow biker.
Just emailed them for a new sticker as I've just changed cars.

I still want some these stickers anyone where I can get some? I looked at one web site but was for up north somewhere, they won't send them to London post code!

So if anyone knows where I can get some, or a quite a few, I'll put on my car and every car that I can!

You can do what I did, send an email to the nice safety team at Leicestershire council and they sent me a handful even though I live in Wales.
