so with my bike creeping up to 10k :( i thought i'd give it a thorough clean

see kwak i did the starter motor this time:cool:. All finished in time for th F1, but sad to see its not going well

10k is nothing for a curvy! My k3 is just about needing its 15k service :(

10k? is that all? Mines going over 21k now. 3000 miles of that are mine i think :D

yes DC's all nicely covered in autosol :D, i bought the bike at 6300 so i've nearly done 4000 miles since june, i think

june 20th i think i got it on the road

yes but not for work anymore, i may use it Wednesday to work as i need to go to town and i can park in the centre for free:D, but i wont be using it in the rain anymore, gets to filthy:rendeer:

you can't see them because i had flames shoot out my exhaust, twice! so its all coked up, nice and black, seriously they are

ere ow long it take you for that exhaust, just to put mileage into context i have done 13k on 2 SV's in 10 months :D

well this is how it goes, i put on old clothes, goggles, smothered everything in autosol and then whipped out the dremmel and began, took about an hour but you need to keep changing the wheel otherwise you will scratch the can

You realise putting a car in a garage is a cardinal sin?

Garages are for putting bikes and tools and anything else the missus doesnt want in the house?

I'm over in Warsash with a very similar bike to you but with 11k on it - looks about the same condition. Spent alot of time at start of year but got a bit of a hammering in Germany earlier this year so need to do a prper pre winter clean.

VERY CLEAN! Nice.
What polish have you used on the Paintwork? The rest looks autosol'd to shiney death!
ALSO, those wheels, are they black? Are those standard on the blue bikes or that 'age'?

polish is muck off miracle shine and the wheels are sort of light black, i think all 2000 and before have them
