This is a request to anyone who has a cheep bike that has at least 6months mot on it that will last me through the winter. ideally id like to spend about 700 but might be able to go a little bit higher or i could offer you a whole bunch of spares + cash if you have a curvy as ive still got parts from mine kicking about. Obviously a beat up curvy would be awesome but i doubt im going to have that much luck so anything 250cc+ is considerd, gpz500, cb500, diversion 600, fazer6, bandit6, etc (please no scooters, its needs to have gears). Ideally with a top box and panniers but thats only a bonus not really that important. I just wish id taken up philbut on his gpz500 when i had the chance.

So then what have you guys got and can i have it. Im in high wycombe bucks, will happily travel to collect a bike and need it fairly sharpish as i really dont think my tls is particually well suited to being a comuter bike especially as i managed to mess up the suspension so am having to take the whole thing apart and put it back together again and im sick to death of bloody buses.

All i really want is something to get through the winter on that isnt going to die from being riden in the wet and has a decent length mot.

thanks in advance guys.
