What got me was the way he is suing the Army for leting him go.

He was in the Para's where just like any other infantry regiment women can not serve, which he would have known!! so how can he expect them to keep him on.

Yes women can serve in lots of other corp's and regiments but unless he specifically asked to transrer then the Army has done nothing wrong. He broke his terms of service not them!! IMO unless he asks to change regiments then he is in the wrong to expect anything else.

Also the Army signed a contract with Ian not Jan and as he points out he is a diferent person now again that contract is void at his doing!!

Wow she looks fantastic (considering what body she had to work with) I didn't realise there was so much facial surgery required, I guess that is not often followed.
A crying shame how she was treated, by her family much more so than the Army.
I wish her well.

he was an officer you don't think he saw any action do ya he would have been in a cozy office somewhere far from any conflict, and a captain at that

But to get lady bits you'd have to take a course of female hormones. Then the only reason you'd have for not leaving the house was that it was a mess...

To explain; the male sex drive would be so reduced that your idea of a hot date would be curry and holding hands...

Fair play to him/her, apart from the massive acheievement of being an airborne officer for 20years to then completely turn your back on a lifetime and start again is a massive acheivement. I just hope his/her family and friends see sense and make it up to him/her.

That is wrong actually.

It is against the Geneva Convention to fire at a plot or aircrew after ejecting. However it is perfectly acceptable and legal to fire upon descending Paratroopers. The difference being the paratroopers are descending to attack you and therefore are not given the same protection as downed pilots,
