Hi Guys, I just got my wheels back on. They've been at the powdercoaters for a while.
I'm really pleased how they turned out! I thought I'd post a few pictures on the Forum.
Thanks to everyone on here who helped with the technical questions. Much appreciated.

Thanks guys!
I wasn't sure what sort of response it would get?
When I told people I was getting them done yellow, I got some weird and wonderful looks! lol! Even the bloke that powdercoated them asked me if I was sure!

Not keen on all the stickers on your bike, but then not many people are keen on the top-box on my bike :D
Cracking looking SV

nice. also may I ask where yu got the tank protector thing from, the one that looks dimpled, and DOES it work ok, do you get good grip?
Also, Nice Forks. Did you do those yourself or get the garage to/ painter to clean em up?

They're stomp grips. They're were discussed in another thread ages ago. I think someone said they were good.
Stomp grips are supposed to be pretty neat.
Quality finish on those wheels, nice job

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the comments!
Eating pot noodles for weeks was worth it! lol!
Yeah, they are stomp grips, I read about them on here before and decided to give them a try. I found them to be a sound investment. £32 if I remember correctly.
They helped me to stay as part of the bike, if you see what I mean? I'm only 10 stone so I got thrown forward a bit when I closed the throttle or started braking.:D
Them stomp grips are in fast bikes this month, bit of an artical on them.

Hey do you know wher I can get the stomp grips from? I would like to get some for my bike as well. Yeah I'm the sane 10 stone (65kg) I did wonder what the bike would look like with powder coated blue wheels! I have the same bike.

Hi,
I got my stompgrips from Califonia Superbike School. Other places like Demon Tweeks sell them too I believe.

Wow. That looks pretty nice actually.
I like the stickers on the rims.
Not so sure about the other stickers, but I am an exceptionally dull boy.

Looks very nice. As Northy said if I hadn't seen a pic I'd have thought it would look nasty.
Good job:thumleft:
