Are you addicted to eBay?
Signs of an addict are such:-
1 - get all itchy/restless if you haven't checked out eBay lately
2 - sits up until silly-o-clock looking at eBay
3 - anything you buy you at least look to see if it is on eBay first
4 - you have a ebay shortcut in your taskbar - to a lesser extent if on your desktop/favourites
5 - end up buing total junk you never wanted before finding it on eBay
etc etc ...

I'm not sure in which category to vote(so i havn't) but i do get a bit lost in motorcycle parts and accesories.
There is so much crapola to sift through though, that i give up pretty quickly.

sell the odd thing on there for pocket money.. nothing more than that though. Wouldn't really buy anything off there - too many horror stories and my luck is pants :(
No I'm not. But only cause I don't have any money.
I sell stuff on there, buying stuff is for suckers and shopping should never be a leisure pastime...
OK, OK, maybe just some shoes but that's it...
No, I bought a leather skirt a couple of weeks ago...
But that's the last time...

Like t'internet, its all in the search criteria ...
I am sure if you searched for 'SV Gimp mask' radius <25 miles, you would find exactly what you were after first off!! :D
ebay? whats that all about?
my latest bargin is yet to be delivered
Had some absolute bargains on there, best ever was the full titanium Akrapovic system for £215 delivered:D
Check it every day looking for bits for my baby, and never had a bad experience with anything I've bought.
I've bought 3 items this week, one for the bike and two for me:D

I find its OK if you want stuff that nobody else does, I bought some old bits for my winter pedal bike and it cost me a couple of quid, but I'm after some retro cycling jerseys and they can go for stupid money. I was bidding on some lights last week, that were crazy, they went for more money than I sourced a new set from by buying from another website.
You just have to watch you dont get carried away thats all, I am checking it pretty much everyday at the mo as theres a few items I'm quite interested in... so at the moment erh yeah I could quit if I wanted to !! :D

So that'll be 3 things for you then.

I am... The bad news is when you go on it not to find something, but to find out what's for sale, that leads to bad ideas. But then, my bike is Ebay through and through, and I've done some very good deals there (bought my twin exhaust for £200, sold it 6 months later for £540... Bought an R6 exhaust for £90, sold it for £210... Just bought a barely scuffed-in Diablo for 99p :smt103)
addicted-esp as im laid up at home without alot to do
i have bought 2 motorbikes and sold 2 motorbikes on ebay. its always worked out tops for me.
although i have had friends loose out big time to scammers too. i've always just been lucky.

Just made a small profit on a leather jacket that I purchased in August, no idea what made me buy it in the first place as it was red & black, my bike is blue :) Madness!!
Usually e-bay suck when I am selling on it, although my wife has 150+ feedback as a seller, all of my feedback 28 is as a buyer.

Yep always on there looking.
I have bought some good and some bad. Worst was probably the body kit for my NC23 only good for a respray and molds. Best the race fairings and Rene system for the SV (will be making an appearance c. 2099).
However while eBay is good I have found forums to be better. I have sourced a ZXR front end for half price and the only secondhand NC23 after market rear shock I've ever seen for a bargain £50, even if it needs a service I will still be more than happy. But SV related I will forever be in debit to 21Quest for the reg/ rec all that time ago.

Have you got to keep the salvage??? I might want some bits off you (or the whole lot :)).
Most of the signs of addictidness applied to me when I had internet at home, but I wouldnt say I'm addicted.

I haven't got one personally ... but appreciate that would be a big indicator of level of sickness!! :D
I’d say I was an addict, but not hardcore enough to need a taskbar shortcut!! :D
Hasn't ebay got it's own toolbar? Who's got that? own up!
Think I used to, & I used to add auctions to my Outlook calendar
Who frequents the ebay forum?
I'm always on there - but then I run an eBay Store. ;)
Personally though I will often have a brief trawl for general stuff I need - just in case sorta thing - and this has turned out the odd bargain for me. Like my little Varadero and my old Mini - both good buys, easy and with no problems, but i never feel I have to buy it from eBay secifically.
just won these
