This roundabout bites.......

Hi folks.

Since the roads are getting slippy with fuel, leaves, mud, salt etc, etc, I thought I'd warn you all of this roundabout.

In the last couple of weeks there have been two (at least) bike accidents on the "Blackwood" roundabout in Cumbernauld. Anyone passing through PLEASE take care.

The first, which myself and Quedos passed shortly afterwards was a preachers son (in his 20s) who slid on spilt fuel (buses?) and hit the kerb causing a broken pelvis. He was then catapulted into a lamp post to be spared due to his back protector.

Today, I heard of a second accident at the same roundabout. Strathclyde Fire & Rescue were called in to wash away spilt fuel........

Although how that helps at slippery rpoundabouts I'm not sure :???:

Nearly got caught with the same on the roundabout's in the Falkirk Stadium area.. all of them are dodgy as hell with Derv just now :mad:

Sayin that, when you know they are slippy. it's great fun getting the R'se end out a bit leaving them ;)
