Generally use Busters Accessories, may not be cheapest but usually very quick and reliable - send an email order acknowledgement straight away and respond quickly to queries and information requests etc.

Use Seastar Superbikes for exhausts - so fast they have delivered before I've even ordered (used them about three times)!

Not Hotbikebits, they sent a faulty product and I couldn't get through to them by email/phone.

Just put an order with Bitsforbikes. All pattern parts - front brake pads, sparks, oil and air filter all in for £81.00 (incl delivery and vat) which I thought was ok. I'll update if/when it turns up!

The Fastone.co.uk and Busters look identical sites to me, just different names.

The sub menus are totally identical?!

i was looking at their chain and sprocket section, then realised its the same as busters, and so is the rest of the site is very similar. Also noticed Sounddistribution.co.uk is similar to that of sportbikeshop.co.uk. Is it me or what?!

Must be half asleep.........!

I've used ... J&S Accessories (http://www.jsaccessories.co.uk/) (fast, efficient, and relatively cheap).
I've also used Marriots Motorcycles (in person), but they also have an online store (http://www.bikersport.com/)
Infinity (http://www.infinitymotorcycles.com/) won the RIDE readers award for 2006/7, however I hear they are in financial difficulty (can anyone confirm that?) and have never used them.
I've also used Busters Accessories (http://www.busters-accessories.co.uk/) and there were very good.
And i've also used Ginger Parts (http://www.gingerparts.com/) ... however I have to say that they failed to deliver the goods when they said they would*

*In fairness
- there was a postal strike on
- Nick @ ginger parts refunded my delivery charge and kept me updated on the progress of chasing courier companies (excellent customer service).

Well the parts I bought from Ginger Parts I ended up going to a bricks n mortar store called Ears Superbikes (in Macclesfield - not far from where I work) and bought the same stuff "off the shelf" (oil filter & oil). In fact the filter was a quid cheaper too.

So I think I'll be asking for a full refund from ginger parts.

3 weeks delivery is taking the P a little, especially when I initially paid for (but have now had refunded) overnight delivery.

do you have a link Pete just so we know to beware

A link to? Ginger Parts? it's in my post above ;-) to Ears Superbikes? I do, but it's hardly worth it. It's just off the Buxton Road in Macc (they don't do "online") ... they have a website but all it says is "yeah, we're here"

Ears Superbikes are quite good and have a really good range of stock for such a small store.

Turned up today so not bad. NGK plugs Goldfren disc pads (never heard of them) look ok, Putoline oil filter and European Filter Co air filter which all looks pretty good but never heard of them. Looks like Czech stuff.

Good service though.

I prefer to use my local bricks and mortar shops. When the chips are down and I need a spare part there and then, it's nice to know that the 'here today - gone tomorrow' online shops haven't pushed my local dealer into reducing his spares stock. I like to be able to see and feel the quality of the stuff I'm buying, and I like to find it in stock so I can get my bike back on the road asap.

I've used http://www.intobikes.co.uk/ before. Seem ok with reasonable prices. I find if I'm getting a few bits I shop around and the big ones usually come up with very similar totals.
