I have been moody this week, but I put it down to stress at work.

Doesn't really help you does it.
I'll get my coat

I get crappy when its gloomy, but as long as its warm I'm ok. I think I'm affected by tempurature more than anything. But when the light levels are low, I do become tired alot more easily. A physiological symptom of SAD perhaps, but no psychological ones.

I've not been diagnosed with it but i sure as hell suffer from it.

If its sunny but cold, no matter how cold, i'm in a positive mood and can get out of bed.

if its grey/rainy then i dont wanna get out of bed and feel so low its silly but i call in sick and spend the day (almost all of it) asleep.

I really should buy one of those daylight bulbs and see if they make a difference but you know....all this swining thru the urban jungle fighting crime means i dont have time for bulb shopping :D

Im Indoors suffers from s.a.d terribly..... last year he was none too bad, cause i fed him vitamins all year. this year has come early, no sun doom and gloom weather all year and no sunny lovliness in France either.

Looks like super strength barrel load a multivits or put im under a sun lamp

I thnk its natural to feel less like doing things when its winter. Look at nature, most day living animals wont be out and about untill sun rise, where as us with our modern lives are waking up un naturally in the dark. So i think there is something in it.

BUT like most things some lazy bar stewards use it as an exuse for being a tw*t over winter or as an excuse for being bone idle!

sorry zig, its bit rich coming from me :cyclopsani:

if you were a regular around IB you'd know i got wiped off my (3rd) Hornet two weeks ago by a red light jumper...talk about late, id got beyond the central reservation coming from Acre Lane to Coldharbour when he came hurtling thru :smt103

meantime ive got a ZX6R stashed in Suffolk for such times, but the flat battery let me down on my return to London, on the Orwell Bridge :(

Long story short - im going down this w/e with a new battery to bring it up, so Ill be on one of them hopefully

course, the likelihood of making it down to Soho is slight, it being winter and all ...oh & the chances of me letting you ride a bike i own are even more remote;) but youll get nothing if you dont ask i guess..

anyway - back to SAD (sorry for the derail - ahem[-o<) - SANEline take it v seriously and anyone suffering can ring the helpline between 1pm-11pm 24-7;)

Holly sh*t Pete!! Hope youre ok tho? Bikes are easy to mend etc.

Dont worry, ive riden a ZX6 before so i wont bug you to ride yours just for the sake of it. Now if you had a 1098 i'd be picking your pocket to get the keys and to hell with the beating you'd give mw when i brought it back :smt048

And it was suprisingly warm in soho tonight with about 15-20 of us there :D
