Recent Spills?

Hi ppl, new to the forum.

Anybody got a story about a recent spill or off? (usually a nice ice breaker to find us "fallers" are not alone)

I keep my bike (curvy sv) at my folks who have a garage. As i dismounted i realised (too late) that the side stand wasn't down. I fell with my SV accompanying me to the ground.

Sore left leg and my bike got her first battle scars! :(

Dropped it comin out the garage tryin to turn round. doh

Couple of lads, 1 of my ship, had a run out to the lakes, wangin round a bend passed by a red blurr ( motorbike ) carried on to the straight to meet a traffic car wrong side comin at 'em chasin the bleedin bike, not very good there officer. Bluepete, could this be you, where do you work...

yer he's fine, dented pride and a few quid from the claim, nowt happened to the cop, so he says..?

i suppose that cop was just doing his job at the end of the day although it sounds like he may have been a little too eager???

i'm quite pro police, just the ones who have it in for bikers i don't like.

Must be good in a traffic car though as most are quick cars, those plain clothes audi a3 are fast, seen the program on the ship, carwars in manchester. i guess that you need to be really good to get on there though.
i'm just turning 28 soon, change of job due to the ship being sold off to some tosser in greece, i'll be comin back to manchester to my parents, good food an beer..:smt038:smt038

I too have had my offs and been greeted by a police car on the wrong side of the road. The two are not related though. Well actually my most recent off is the same road where I met the police car, so perhaps slightly related.

Sadly I joined the club too back in July with my month old 07 plate SV Sport :( wrote it off at 30mph, fortunately got sorted with the insurance and picked up my replacement 57 plate a couple of weeks ago :D almost done running in for the second time heh.
definitely not alone, it seems to have been happening to loads this year :(
