Easy quick detour down a road with uneve road surface or speed bumps and jpbs a good'un........failing that drag the chase out for more than 15 minutes and it will burst into flames lol:smt119

All due respect and everything, like I am sure its quick, but it looks like a 12
year old boy designed it.
It is, as the saying goes, butt ugly.
And, yeah, that website is *really* bad.

True and very true!
Oil tankers have better turning circles than T5's!

not keen on volvo's. i've seen a few police 1's and i think they look a bit "old man like" (no offence)
i do like those '06 vectra's though.
i might be mistaken but i could have sworn i saw a police subaru as well. not those undercover ones. it had yellow and blue on the doors.
anybody else come across these? looks like the police have found something else to spend our tax's on if i'm right.

Yep, TVCU (those chaps and chapesses on car wards) have a liveried Imprezza.
Volvos are a bit "old man" but I don't care. It's fast and very comfy for a ten hour shift. the Vectras are very fast, but I find them a bit uncomfortable and harsh.
I must be old!

whats tvcu stand for...
look at this one, why has it an illegal plate, blody one rule for one etc, next i'll be getting done for doin 50 in a 40 whilst other are doin a ton plus and braggin about, not fair really is it.
My dad had an old 850 about 6 years ago. It was almost stolen 4 times, simply because it WAS hard to turn.
Good for ram raids, apparently. Went where it was pointed, and hit hard.

For a minute there this had me thinking someone else had got the same scare as me the other night, being followed for 5 miles or so by unmarked rozzers who then pulled me over :D

Something along the lines of - 'When you looked behind you to check if you're mate (my Dad) was there, you weaved to the right and just crossed the centre-line.' Nevermind me pointing out it was on a clear straight, something about the pixies could've suddenly jumped out in my path in front of me
Then on to 'You took off rather rapidly from that 40-section didn't you? In fact we had trouble keeping up with you' - Oops  Definitely not the sort of thing you want to hear a copper tell you! 'And the standing on the pegs was presumably because your legs were tired? No more of that please'. Funny grey area this, under discussion recently on the ADV forums. Their line was similar, 'cos a bike has a seat you must use it, never mind that a DR is a bike designed for standing at times but there we go, best not to argue the toss. Could be 'not in proper control of the vehicle' apparently.
All in all though, they thanked me for slowing down for the 40s and 30s, said I was clearly in control but to keep it down in future so fair play to them really. A good old fashioned bit of policing on a day they said they'd already issued 20 tickets as part of a county-wide crackdown.
Quite why they bothered me on an 8 year old DR and my Dad on his GS rather than the R1 and Fireblade that had been in front of me but roared off into the distance I don't know...

They had trouble keeping up with you on a DR and your dad on a GS.
I don't know exactly what either of those are, but i'm willing to bet an R1 and a Blade will chew them up, spit them out, and beg for seconds :smt082

Yep, something like that! I think my DR will do about 95-100 mph but at those speeds you're pretty likely just to get blown off the damn thing. Not exactly generous on the old wind protection :D

don't the old rozzers get given some of these high performance cars every now and then as a kind of advertisment to the public to see what their cars can do. ie. when you see one all of a sudden bugger off into the distance "on a call"
