The latest ant-theft idea for bikes and cars is stick-on rust and scratches (http://www.dominicwilcox.com/stickers.html). Does anyone think that this would work. Personally, I'd prefer to trust to my ground anchor and chain, rather than have my bike look battered and rusty.

Shall we nick that brand new Jag, oh no we better not it has some rust and loads of scratching.............

The kind of cars most theiving scum want to nick are newer stuff which would never be in that sort of state so it'll be seen straight through!

At home wiring the ground ancor up to around 15kV would be the best way, you'd have to get CCTV up though as the result would be fooookin hilarious.

Stick on dirt and scratches? But the real dirt sticks on just fine!:albino:

Why would you need stick on rust on a SUZUKI?!

True, but your SV never gets taken out so no one will know it's there ;)

Sod it, I'll just wire the bike up to a DACS'd phone line. 99volts should scare them off nicely.
