Correction...cojones or as an alternative one may use "huevos".;)
You will get it on any forum you go to. I use a lot of forums, and this is one of the most mild mannered forums by far.
What someone says online shouldn't really effect your life in any way. Most abusers are uneducated bafoons with jelly and ice cream where their brains should be anyway, so whats written may effect you for a few seconds, then think about what the person abusing is really like and raise your bar above theirs.

Know what ya sayin Stew, like kwak say's stick outta it and then you can't get bothered, the two attacks today are personal and by no means fair all has been made up on one of them, the other I am not sure of.

Firstly if you mean me just say neio you are an ar*e either publicly or via PM , I don’t care I can take it, water off a ducks back and all I would rather be accused of it face to face than in a hidden snipe in a post!!
. And if you had kept reading you would see that I apologised for my accusation and all was well between me and Ping.

its been much worse than this....
its being watched and if it escalates then a mod will step in. I agree with the others if you dont like it stay out of the thread its what I used to do...
I'd rather give people time to work things out rather than wading in and handing out bans etc etc. Normally given time to think then things get resolved which I think in both threads this seems to have happened.
Compared to a couple of the other forums I am a member of this place is pretty friendly, I've noticed a pattern though when the clocks change and the weather worsens then people's fuses get shorter, seen it in driving standards especially now as I cycle I nearly got knocked off twice last week by idiot car drivers.
Just take a chill pill folks, I am keeping an eye on whats going on as I am sure the other mods are to.
Shut up your whinging all of you.
We all know im far better than everyone and all and would kick all your arses.
Bring it on, im all man, ROOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR.

I personally think this is the friendliest site out of all the ones I have used. You want nasty, try Visordown!
I have only once had a go at someone, when he was being as I thought extremely offensive about Suicides, a subject I have personal experience of. I felt terrible about it afterwards, and apologised.
I'm sure some people don't mean to upset others, and maybe don't word their posts very well, and this can give rise to misunderstandings. Others, I'm sure, know exactly what they are doing, but those people are blessedly few on here. On the whole, you are a great bunch:-D

There are times when even with the best of intentions you get really irritated. It happens in life so why not here - this place isn't insulated or divorced from reality. I don't see any harm in challenging people, as long as people accept that throwing buckets of sh*t isn't an acceptable way to behave.

Well said
it's not too much of a problem really i don't think, if you're not involved and don't want to get involved it's fairly easy, just ignore it all
also this is a forum, and as much as it is great, it is still just black and white type on a screen. I believe that if some of these things were said eye to eye, then there would probably be many circumstances where it would be picked up in the light hearted way. This always happens to me, the downside of the wonder that is the world wide web

I will more than likley go off on random rants and tangents but please no one take them to heart. it is only after al my very humble opinion on things.

I believe it would be more correct to write that you "prefer" the arguments, since to write in the past tense implies that, though once true, it is no longer the case, and therefore is untrue.

No, seriously, lets all play nicley. This is the nicest forum on the internet, and the most freindliest. I guess we should all be proud that personal attacks and disputes (that arn't freindly disputes) happen far and few between, unlike on many other forums

As Micahel Winner would say, "Calm down it's only a forum". At the end of the day if someone's really pi$$ed you off, it's just the opinion of some bloke/girl on the internet. In the greater scheme of things it doesn't really matter.
However I do think you should name the people that are casuing you all this offence otherwise you'll get loads of people thinking, "Did I do something?" and the people that did offend your sensiblilities won't be any the wiser & still go on upsetting you without realising it.
That way you're doing something proactive about it instead of just letting it simmer.

Yep and then all that will happen is that everybody else will then start chucking mud at those particular people in every thread they go into and then you have the grounds for a nasty slanging match.
Its much better to PM a Mod or an admin and complain that way then it can be dealt with appropritely and if action is necessary it will be taken.
I dont like slanging matches and dirty washing done on the open forum it just spreads bad feeling and it makes things worse.

Morning all.
Having been involved in a few 'heated debates', mainly of a technical nature. I have to say that there are a fair few on here who can't distinguish gentle wit & sarcasm from genuine hassle.
I was under the impression that the little smilies were there to indicate that one is jesting, or attempting to lighten the tone, but they're obviously invisible to the aforementioned.
Fortunately most on here are good humoured, & enter into the spirit of things.
To those Pink fluffy types that don't, I say F@@K 'EM if they can't take a joke, & if they're not careful we'll send Yorkie round to bash 'em with his hammer!:D
Cheers.

I just re-read threads I've voiced an opinion on then spend the next 30 mins over analyising eveything I've said thinking, "Is he/she referring to me?" It's bl00dy annoying!
Personally I would like to know if I've caused offence/crossed a boundary. You then have a chance to do something about it, but without knownig what the issue is how can you expect to resolve it?
