Hey all,
Well I am thinking about manufacturing some more of these as the last batch I made earlier in the year went over very well.
Just like to get an idea of anyone interested in these and any feedback from ones that have bought some either from here or on the bay.
I can turn these around in about a fortnight so plenty of time for crimbo. Let me know that you think.
These will fit most bike that have a solid bar with a M6 tapped hole. They work with naked SV’s that have the rubber bung insert type and you just need a longer bolt which I will supply. I think pointy’s are like this as well. Just let me know.
They will be sent recorded delivery at £20/pair all in.
Cheers!
List Update:
I'll keep a running list and I'll let you know when I can send them out. I am expecting them on 7/12 fingers crossed.
Could all of you interested let me know what bike you have that is if you haven't already let me know. Curvy, Naked or Pointy, cause the Nakeds and Pointys have the hollow end bars and the Curvys have the solid end and it will just same time in the end by sending you the right size bolts.

very tempting. do you know hopw much a standard set usually cost?
toonyank
07-11-07, 02:18 PM
I'm not sure about factory ones but Pro Bolt are getting £18 plus postage for aluminium alloy. Stainless is about 3 times and dense as aluminium and much more expensive. They look the bees knees imho
Yes, count me in for a pair if you're going to do a run - right side bar end on my curvey is pretty nadgered after a low side.

Not sure straight away but ring Suzuki (or any shop). These maybe very standard and they may just have them lying round.

The rubber bits are only available as part of the bar end assembly according to my local dealer... So, when I needed some I got some cheap bar ends for about a tenner and used the rubbers off those.

I think they probably will. If I'm not mistaken TL's have hollow clip-on's like the pointies right? If so then no problem. Can you try your pointy one on the TL to make sure?

Anyone else received and tried to fit theirs to a pointy?
The bolts I took out were appx 100mm long, the new ones are only 65mm and way short.
Wondering if its just me or the same for others.
Thanks,

Hi all,
Well I think I am going to have to deal with the Pointy's on an individual basis.
I think there maybe differences between year models. Some seem to work apart from the bolts being too short like pben47's and I can sort longer bolts.
On the other hand Ollie_07 has a problem with the bar ends not fitting flush with the bar. It's the first I've heard of this situation.
Ollie_07 does the bar not fit within the back cbore on the bar end or is it just a gap between the bar end and the grip? I can't tell from your PM'd pic.
I have a question for Oggs if you're out there? What size bolts did you use for your Pointy? And did you have any problems with it fitting flush?
I will sort everyone out don't you worry I just thought it was a little more straight forward for the Pointy people out there.

Well picked mine up from the post office (they look awesome) and will be fitting them on Monday. The bolts look the right length for my TL clip-ons and they should fit just fine.
I will update you if I have problems fitting them but I don't envisage it.
Cheers
