I'd take a full gixxer front end or an upgrade rear shock but I don't suppose you have that or I can afford it right now

Re: The All new Reeder Megathread

well there's a nice surprise. i have been wanting to put a drive in my front garden for a good few years as it will be easier for Mrs B to get in and out the house/car. i was under the impression that i needed planning permission to do, so i gave the idea up, but i have just found out that i dont :-)

https://www.planningportal.co.uk/inf...r_front_garden

i was looking for the rules about putting a concrete prefab garage in the back garden and stumbled on the above. i never realised that prefab garages were so bloody cheep.

Re: The All new Reeder Megathread

I'm looking at the potential of building a larger workshop so I can speed up some jobs and have more than one job on the go at once plus be able to store more timber(maybe a bike or two). Seems you can build a shed upto 30sqmts with a pitch height upto 4m with an eaves height of 2.5m with no planning as long as it's 2m from boundaries and doesn't protrude further than the front line of your dwelling.
Think my neighbour should sell me a piece of his field!

i'm going to look a bit further into the garage as it might just end up a non access extension. my dining room will be getting turned into a wet room for Mrs B in the near future so my plan will be to brick up the window and extend out from there which will give me a huge garage/workshop :-)

I hope I can make mine a reality otherwise I'm going to end up having to rent workshop space. As much as anything I look forward to the building project
