Um it's 5' now and I'm going to spin the Tiger up the town in the morning if I can find my metal work.

I must admit I need some bike time, it's been 3 weeks since riding now :(

I WILL get out on it before the Mapril Meat Run!

Father-in-law took the BMW out yesterday and did 60 miles - he rang me up just to gloat lol :)

Stripped the Hornet down yesterday in readiness for its wrap and new Scorpion exhaust - still not 100% on what colour to go for lol

My friend does wrapping for a living - he is doing it as a favour :)

Thinking of wrapping it in Honda 900 colours... Like this but metallic...

Interested to see the result. Might be a cure for my faded red Zafira :p

Yellow Curvy at the Royal British Legiron Bike Show, Long Melford on Sunday. Just leaving as I arrived.
If you are on the forum what can do you have as it sounded grrrrrreattt! I always said I would keep my Curvy standard but am very tempted.

Fuel end can, a nice noise, but not offensive

Yup, common fault on my part, bad aiming as thought I was posting on the spotting thread!
Only got a quick look at the curvy but it looked like a standard silencer, sounded, to my ear, like a VTR. Trying to keep the Curvy looking standardish. The K6 has an old Micron Carbon can sans baffle which does sound nice but not over loud.

Hello peeps, now the sun is shining again I am hoping most of you are on ya bikes?

I've just been out on my explorer for the first time since, what, October last year, in prep for commuting to Birmingham next week

Shocking I know, and not I am wondering why the fook I didn't get out on it earlier, I've missed it :)

So....do we need to get planning rides/meet ups again? It's Mapril after all and the meat raffle is calling

It's still cooler than it should be thanks to Putin's wind machine blowing this easterly wind. Feck off

April 2017 was the last reply haha

Just wondering if anyone fancies trying to do a March Meat Run this year, and in March too, assuming we continue to have good weather....

Linky to satnav files from last time: http://filebin.ca/2cH4WDfnV6T7/March.Meat.Run.zip

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread

Could do, would be a good thing to give mine a shake down since it was used on the last Meat run, haven't used it since it had a new RR

Bit chilly this morning! My BMW is off the road at the moment due to a fuel leak (it is 25 years old...!) and has no MOT and is not likely to be fixed soon due to other pressures. The Grom is in use every day (love that thing!) but is not really suitable for a big bike rideout!

maviczap 25-02-19 06:06 PM

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread

March is out I think, as I've only got one weekend free, and I'm keeping that free as my friend from America is over that weekend. So going for April, which will give us more time to sort something out

kaivalagi 25-02-19 09:08 PM

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread

I burnt my face from riding Sunday and today, it's been a great last couple of days getting to know the gixxis.

I'm open to an April meet instead Rich, whatever brings more numbers....could do one run each month...assuming reasonable weather is to be had

Anyone new or old interested in a day out make yourself known! The day, if we get interest, will be starting with a English breakfast or bacon roll in a greasy spoon at Red Lodge turnpike where we meet, a couple hours riding, then meat raffle/drinks in a seemingly random pub, then a couple more hours riding before going are separate ways....

If we get a few more replies I'll pop up a poll for dates based on what seems do-able...
