Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Ouch! Good luck Craig, hope the op gets done with the minimum of fuss and bother, and you're out and on your feet again asap.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Have you thought about having a dominatrix walk across your back with stiletto boots? (or is that just my fantasy :) ). Might not fix the problem but it will definitely take your mind off it.
Hope the pain eases quickly... |
Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Thanks everyone!
@seeker - is that dominatrix service available on the NHS? Just wondering ;) |
Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Hope all goes well Craig. Off tomorrow to a hospital north of Chesterfield for the wife to see a consultant re getting her knee replaced. Paying for it for the same reason as Craig hopes to get back on the bike by March. We hopefully have at least 10 years of active life left together. Get it done soon, if all goes well, then we may have an active summer. Its not how things should be, and private health treatment is something we fundamentally disagree with, but it is what it is.

I agree, you shouldn't have to pay for it, but what price do you put on the pain and suffering waiting for NHS treatment. It's all part of the Tory plan to dismantle the NHS.

I understand that if you have to go private she can raise funding by organising a whip round... ;) |
