That's fairly close to the technique I went for at uni.

Think about what the guy likes, or perhaps consider how he is viewed by others(assuming its positive). Then make it more relevant and more personal by having it engraved.

Not that sure what he likes which makes things more difficult.

A hip flask is too much of a cliche, but something silver is always nice. Maybe with the company logo or perhaps if he is American get something traditionally English.

Consequently considering the firm you work for, the tight *******s should be able to put their hands in their pockets for more than £40!

Main problem, I work for a law firm and they are tighter than a ducks but. The collection only really drew £20 even after the senior managers put in and myself and a mate are making up the difference. It's a sad world we live in.

I do study a bit.....I'm just quite fortunate that i absorb stuff osmotically.

Never had to do retakes until now, but thats only because i didnt sit any of the exams. I guess they are deferred not retakes.

If you really are stuck for ideas just take him to Spearmint near Heathrow/Langley. Its on the way back home for you anyway.

Did you hear the bit where I said £40? You probably have to pay that just to get one of the girls to acknowledge you across the room in spearmints!
