H'mmm I don't mind Ed, although most of his stuff isn't to my taste.

As for oneD, don't get me started.

My gripe is I can't access the Org on my PC, I'm using my mob data to access this thread.

What's going on

The weather! Got delayed at Folkstone getting the Eurotunnel then got caught in traffic around Antwerp. What should have been a 5pm arrival turned into 9pm in Dusseldorf. Left Ipswich at 8am.

Thought puppy had peed on kitchen floor, cleaned up and 10 minutes later another puddle.

No the joint on the toilet cistern inlet has failed, water tracked along the pipe from front to back of house, hallway ceiling soaking.

Fortunately I had installed a check valve so able to isolate water to bog for tonight. bloody cheap plastic inlet, I just know If I attempt to tighten it it will fail, so in the light of day I guess it will be a new fibre washer and some ptfe.

First day of decent enough weather to ride on a weekend in a month and I've got a formal Christmas do to attend this evening.

Same here Bill, but I was at work all day. It was gorgeous :smt019

A perennial gripe, and as a regular cyclist, I cannot understand why some ride in darkness, with no lights & black clothing. I couldn't see this guy riding his bike between the street lights this morning. :smt104

This guy was old enough to know better

Idiots driving too close on the M25. Could just see the top of a van in lane 4 "jolt" as it collided with the slowing car in front and then it was brake lights a go-go. Except the car in lane three beside me was clearly not paying attention and slammed into the car in front that had slowed to let cars in who were avoiding the first bump...

Arriving in my office to find the builders have casually thrown my things everywhere and are drilling holes in the wall without any dust sheets. My offices houses our photographic archive which should not be getting covered in dust! Thankfully I'd taken my cameras home for the weekend.

I told them politely but very firmly to get the hell out of my office and not come back until the Head of Estates had called me and arranged a suitable time.

Rather sheepish Head of Estates sends over the building project manager to apologise. So I am going to slope off at 2.30 today while they do their drilling, but not without dust sheets.

Hanging out the washing in lovely sunshine, then looking up from working to see it has been raining.
