Right, the Vito is as finished as I can manage. It still sticks open a lot of the time when on 1 second, but if you turn the dial to 1/2 then it'll free up. Using it on 1/2 or faster is fine, not checked the speeds though. I had to use quite a lot of oil on the escapement as it sticks part way through its stroke; at 1s it uses the furthest part, which is the only part that sticks. For 1/2 or faster it doesn't go into that area. I've annotated the photos on Flickr:

Had a quick look at the K1000, popped the bottom cover off. There was a stuck lever which popped the mirror back down, I think it might be bent so need to check out some pix.

It has now however jammed without firing so add that to the list! Will have to do some research before getting into it. I don't know when I'l be able to get back to it, so if you want the Vito sooner then let me know and I'll pop it in the post.

Saw a really nice Ikonta 35 on ebay last night, amazing condition. Was advertised as Zeiss Ikon Compur Rapid camera, so not ideal, but went for £27 in the end, bit of a surprise. Must clean mine up... and the rest! No sign of the Konica bits yet but am hoping for tomorrow's post.

Yes it's £120 but read the ad - there are two cameras and some other gear. I know I go on about selling off bits but I think you were after a 700?

Yeah the K1000 did that to me as well, you may need to lift the trigger arm to sort. What lens have you fitted on the K1000 and what did you think of the printed lens cap? You can keep the Vito or donate it to Yoko's friend. Need to test my Perkeo at some point. Seems a bit steep or is that a good price?

Thanks Johnny but you already found me an X700 on Gumtree. One just up the road I picked up for under £20. Nice camera.

Are you interested in the OM2? Not cheap but sell off the winder and the 135 lens; keep the camera and the 50 mm 1.4.

Good news all round Yoko, I'll cross that one off my list of things to watch out for.

I put my 50mm f1.2 on it as the body on its own looked a bit bare. Body cap is a bit rough to be honest, couldn't get it off to start with, and hard to get back on, where did the pattern come from?

Price, if you mean the Ikonta 35, they do go for that if good, sometimes more, though not often.
