I'm a definite but I am thinking of stopping off in Halifax on the Thursday before and possibly the Sunday on the way back too.

I've got Friday off and will be riding up from Ruislip. I'll probably leave about eight-ish, unless there's a group ride planned.

I've not done any route planning yet, but my first thoughts are that I'll follow the M40 until I'm past Birmingham, then decide where I fancy going for lunch depending on the weather.
