Re: My first pointy
There's a whole thread about stuck oil filters
http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...ghlight=filter Those K&N ones with a nut, just encourage folk to over tighten them with a spanner! |
Re: My first pointy
Footpegs turned up this morning. Many thanks. Will test them tomorrow to see how much difference they make.

Re: My first pointy
Footpegs put on and I rode it in today. Even with that small drop it made a difference, more than i was expecting it to. My calf muscle isn't pushing against my thigh so much so its much better. So well pleased with that. One slight downside I noticed is they stick out more than the standard pegs, so you have to sort of turn your toes in more to get the gear lever and brake? I assume i'll get used to this or need to space out the gear change peg bit, if you see what I mean? Or maybe reverse riser plates would be better? I'll stick with it for a while and see how I get used to it.

Re: My first pointy
The Buell pegs aren't for me. Adam EF did you want them?
|
Re: My first pointy
If you're interested, I also have some brand new riser plates which can be flipped for a lower footrest position.
Sorry the Buell footpegs didn't work out |
