Had a cracking run to Porthmadog via Nantwich > Wrexham > Corwen > Betwys > Blaenau Ffestiniog.

The stretch from Betwys down to Porthmadog has to be one of my favourite roads ever. Stunning scenery (apart from Blaenau, that is ;)).

Good weather, just a bit of residual run-off water in the odd spot on the roads.

Glorious day here. Started it with a cracking 7 mile run with two fellow canicrossers in sunshine a gorgeous scenery. Home, showered, into the bile kit and off out in the sun for a favourite ride. The only rain was this weird torrential 45 second downpour on the way back up Morfa Mawddach and then a bit of drizzle coming over the bwlch from Dolgellau to Dinas Mawddwy. Other than that a lovely warm spring ride.
Sorry Mav!

I think you get more than our share of rain Gary.

Still grey and drizzly over on the East coast.

Rain or not I shall have to ride it tomorrow as it's due the MoT. Hope it doesn't rain as it's fairly clean at the moment!

Cold, drizzly, and filthy roads. Bike sailed through the MoT but it was pretty mucky by the time I got home. Quick wash down with several buckets of clean water and it's sitting back in the garage looking better again.
Just need the roads to dry up a bit now.

The roads are filthy at the moment. Last weekend's ride to Porthmadog was dry apart from about a 20-yard stretch just past the top of the Horseshoe that had run-off water coming from a field right across the road.

It was literally only 20 yards but because I was following a line of cars at the time, the bike was covered in muddy spots afterwards. It really annoys me having to wash the entire bike down because it spent no more than a couple of seconds on a wet / muddy bit of road ....
