The trick is to sell it for more than your original purchase price, then email the guy to rub it in a bit. It's only fair that he's fully informed. :D

hehe, bearing in mind MY description would be accurate, I wouldn't expect it to sell for what I paid.

Like I said, the guy was willing to compromise, so I'll drop it ... its frustrating, but there are bigger things to worry about than buying a 2nd hand front tyre for £30! :D

At least I don't feel shafted any more and he might have been genuinely unawares?? ... if it was deliberate, bearing in mind he had to give a big chunk of the cash back, (it certainly wasn't very profitable for him) he'll prolly think again about doing the same in future ... which can only be a good thing :)

Do you reckon you could still beat that gixer round Silverstone with a square wheel on?:D

How about getting it straightened by Hagons or that other firm?

Maidstone motor liners IIRC ... by the time I have paid postage and the work, its not really 'worth' it ...

However, if I tool all my eBay 'bargain' bent wheels and discs, and tehy would do a job-lot fee, then it might be economical to make a trip there!! :D

That sounds a tad expensive, if your willing to spend that much on a set of wheels i can probably get you a set of carbon fibre DYMAG's for that price, if not carbon, magnesium, i have contacts ;)
