I'd like to see how the home made grill turned out.

Re: Radiator Grille
i used a sheet of aluminium and folded some aluminium angle round the edges just to make it look neat only took about 30 min to do , its not as neat or as strong as the s/steel ones you can get but its taken a couple of hefty knocks aready

Re: Radiator Grille
You would have thought Suzuki would provide something like this as standard! when you consider the price of having to replace it I've heard £400+

Re: Radiator Grille

Re: Radiator Grille

Dizzy, I also got one of the 15 quid rad covers. I have an S radiator, all I had to do was cut the bottom half off each side, the mounting parts, and then used zip ties to hold it on. Jobs a goodun. The S radiators have that mounting point for the fairing which gets in the way of a normal rad guard, not to mention having nowhere to bolt it on to :p |

http://forums.sv650.org/picture.php?...119&pictureid=My new rad grill has arrived... I've been waiting 3 months! I was hoping for a Stainless Steel one with SV on it. but I've had to settle for a black mesh style made by R&G it will do its job but wont stand out as much.
