yeah true, i had not fitted the front sliders because i could not get the bolts un done :mad: so i was going to get them put on by a dealer!! at least they are sat on the fridge protecting that from sliding along the road!! :confused:

ben on one website and reckon in the region of ?150 for the fairing repair!

Welsh Wizard dont worry about it mate, what happened to me this morning could have just as easily happened to a 16yr old on a scooter or a 30 yr experiance IAM on big bike.

cold tyres, greasy road and bang down you go. Strange thing is i just got up thought bugger (well more than that but this isa U forum) , checked the bike over made sure everything worked ok and rode off. i was abit nervous on the next couple of corners and was riding to try and figure out if it handled ok. It did rides straight, suspension works ok and all brakes are ok. Its cosmetic and anoying. Like peeps have aid i am ok soits all good.

ironically i read Bike a couple of days ago and they had an artical in sayng everyone who has a bike will crash. at the time i thought hmmmm how pesamistic!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

and to top it all off i done it infront of a load of school kids waiting for a bus, que loads of whooping whistling and laughing!! :(

There is no hope. Abandon it. Just have fun in the meantime...
