Soulkiss I had considered that. If it carries on and I can prove it's my baby hurting me I'll have to get Heli Bars. Failing that I'll swap it with your 125.

As somebody with a "back", firstly I sympathise. Don't just hit ibuprofen tablets without testing your tolerance first. In my case they cause agonising abdominal pain. I keep in a stock of DF118 and Tramodol. An ambulance and morphine in extreme circumstances.

Firstly adjust the position you ride in. Try bending your spine concave, lift your shoulders and grip with your knees. I suffer from a narrowing of the disks and sclerosis of the vertebrae.

This gives me wonderful pain in my legs as well. Spasms that can drop me on the floor.

Yeah, "back" here too I'm afraid. As you describe, lower back/sciatic nerve issues, I get the worst probs from sitting, especially in the car.

Following researching and advice from others, regular gentle exercise is the best route, walking seems to help me a lot. The other exercise is laying on your back on the floor, knees bent, roll legs from side to side.

As others say, ibuprofen reduces inflammation, paracetamol helps reduce pain and tension, but don't rely on them alone to fix it, they won't.

I'm ok with Iboprofen so I'll get some tomorrow. Don't think it's sciatica as there's nothing sown the leg. To be honest I think I got off my bike the wrong way, off the right, in a tight space and done it awkwardly. I'll give it a bit and see what happens.

I sympathise with all you real sufferers.

I can bring the back support to work tomorrow if you want to borrow it and see if it does any good.

Go to Boots and buy yourself a pack of heat pads. You take em out of the packet and stick em on you clothing. They really do work for as long as they state. I've had problems with my back for years, since I fractureed the 3rd lumbar thingiemiddoodle. Last year I found I was hypermobile and all the joint pains and half the problem in my back was due to this. Hypermobility means you can stretch your muscles and joints twice as far as normal folk.......I thought all my problems was because i was a gymnast for ten years.

The physio told me that heat applied really does work, and these pads that she recommended to me were a godsend....especially on a 12 hour night shift, because they lasted for 11 hrs....just enough to pull me through. Sciatica is god awful too, literally a pain in the ar$se!!!!

I might do that dizzy. If I'm right heat helps either bone or muscle and cold helps the other? Don't think it's sciatica, but I think it's muscular as I can poke a bit thet hurts and when I move it spreads out a bit to my lower back.

Managed work ok but must've looked a bit stupid groaning whilst gettting up off the floor.
:)

P.S. K cider is helping loads.

Just noticed the time, so it's off to bed for me. I will take it to work with me so if you want it just give me a ring after 06:00 and I will pop it across.
I really recomend these as it seems to stop my pain befor it gets bad.
