Congrats on the DSLR...i use a D90 myself and have been building up the lens and flash collection slowly. No doubt you have a bunch of stuff readily avaliable from another D80 owner you can use!
Nikon forum on dpreview is an ok place to get some critism on your pics as well as tips.
