That's my excuse anyway. I just secretly love that pick your favourite five thing. Wheeeeee.

Indeed that IS the problem with facebook.

If my mates want me to go out for a drink/ride I expect a phonecall, a text or an email ie. direct contact where it is confirmed that the message was sent and received.

Not some broadcast on a spam-lade, identity thieving P.O.S. website.

I hate facebook. Does anyone know how you can lock it down so the err compromising pictures aren't available to certain people?

Delete them all ^.^

Nah go to settings, top right, hover over it and click on 'privacy settings'. Then in the drop down boxes click on customise and choose 'some friends' or whatever you wanna choose.

On your FB homepage, hover your mouse pointer over a story about him and you'll see a button appear to the right of the story marked 'Hide'. Click that (or the arrow on it and pick 'Hide <name>' from the menu) and you'll never see a story about him again.

Simples.

I don't use facebook for keeping in contact with anyone; I occasionally have a bit of a group chat with some mates from uni, but mostly its for hosting pictures.
