Anyone got experience of either or both?

I use both and IMO both are well worth it. T'other half is pretty inexperienced and these make her much more comfortable/confident. Both have proved their worth as well...

This weekend we went away for a couple of nights camping. Enroute, fully loaded, I had to do an emergency stop from a speed slightly healthier than the motorway limits. Won't go into details but as usual it was a cager being a cager. We stopped with ample space and without even a hint of a bodycheck or headbutt from behind. I didn't even notice the pressure through the love handles (probably because I was concentrating on the task at hand) but I haven't any bruises or anything.

BTW - When I put the love handles on I twist the buckle to the back. Tis more comfortable....

Love handles endorsed by Mrs Tallguy, not a confident pillion and won't use the rear grab rail. I was told that, when braking, the pillion should try to push the handles towards each other like trying to put fists knuckle to knuckle, this reduces and evens out the pressure on the rider allegedly. Dunno if it's true though! For less than fifteen quid, it made a big difference. WARNING! I almost set off with only one of the plastic click things engaged, I now check for two clicks every time!

My ones were motrax deluxe they have a bigger load plate than the standard ones i looked at.
I wore mine so the handles were almost together behind me but you can have them on the front also.
Brilliant....
