Wow amazing input cheers. Have Osram nightbreakers on the car, didnt know same for bike so will look into getting them also.
Just trying find decent exhaust/price on the e-bay now then, the most difficult bit!

My SV had the Philips Extreme Powers in, and they're similar to the nightbreakers - the bluevision ones are the chavvy side light bulbs that some retailers chuck in with them.

Just a point as no one in the thread has raised it, HID kits on bikes are illegal, although fall into the class of "probably get away with", just so you know, replacement H4's are fine.

Presuming too bright. I know xenons on cars if not fitted with a auto-dip feature they are illegal due to dazzling other drivers

No they don't have auto-dip. They have self levelling, or self levelling suspension.

Obviously on bike, unless you're on some hardtail then putting a pillion on is going to point the headlight up in air and blind oncoming drivers. Unless of course everyone sets their suspension sag every time they put someone or something on the back...
