I got a mate who's a mechanic to thread the arm of the shock for me and just used the orginal SV bolt.

Just to update;
Shock was a complete bitch to get off, bolts felt like they had been welded in, but after a lot of sweat and tears (mainly thru hitting myself with a sledge hammer) we managed to do the swap and for those of you still riding with stock sv suspension ohh my god what a difference. For £115 i now have a completely new bike it is amazing! Big kudos to all who have helped and offered advice. Irksy |

I did my fork oil and seals last night, oh how lovely the bike is now, with its lovely shock.
