Learn to play a musical instrument. Tidy up the garden. Tidy up the garage. Walk to the library and read some periodicals that you'd never normally buy. Take your camera off to somewhere nice and experiment with nice/arty shots (go back to library and read up about the subject). Do some decorating or home improvements. Make something - start simple on something like a bird box that you can get pleasure from when you get residents in the spring. You have lots of options.

I'm stuck in an office for 45 hours a week and use all of the options above to get out and about of a weekend and after work.
