How can I check if the clearances have been done? Will I have to take the owners word for it or is there any way to check? I apologise but I really know next to nothing about bikes.

intresting....... it should have the 15.000-16000mile stamp if done by a garage,

but when i took my curvy, i was told it would cost £140 extra to check them, and not too bother, as they hardly ever need adjusting. which put me off using this garage, so i got a mate to do them.

but im not sure if you can tell if they have been done, ?

Well I bought the bike and rode it home from Sheffield. About a 32 mile trip back along the M1 and a few twisty roads and what a machine! Acceleration is like nothing I have experienced and I love it. Done around 85 miles in total already and really enjoying it. Very happy with my purchase as it's a very tidy bike.

Will do a detailed write-up of the bike tomorrow as I'm going to get an early night, up early for work in the morning! Will also get some pictures as the ones in the advert do not do her justice!
