Re: Front Suspension
well,
fitting the front springs isnt that hard but you do need to take the forks out to get the air gap right (and get your old oil out) however you can adjust the front preload (as i have done) by lifting the front in the air, taking the fork caps off and sticking a few 20mm washers in there. however from what you say your not bottoming out the forks but are feeling it dipping. I would say its just a thing about the bike and its cheap suspension |
Re: Front Suspension
yeah i have a manual will read it through and get the tools i think i should have every thing.
anybody know of a good site i could order the stuff from ? springs oil and dust caps etc... thanks a lot guys:D |
Re: Front Suspension
As long as its the haynes don the normal manual won't tell you how to do it.
It is a job anyone that has held a socket wrench in their hand before can do. Just another thing, you don't need dust caps. You aren't taking the fork apart the dust caps with stay in place. You are only removing the oil and springs. In terms of buying them try hagon, they do kits I believe. |
Re: Front Suspension
