I bet if you are not hurting physically you are hurting thinking about ya bike. When I had my off I didnt get to see my bike for a week and that was the thing that got to me. Looked bad but didnt cost me that much to fix back together.

When you have a list of what you need put it up and the org will come to your aid. I haven't much in the way of spares but if I have something that will help you can have.

Take care xxx

What happened exactly? Would be nice to hear your take on the incident.

Sorry to hear of your off mate, but consider this. You have a lot of damage to your bike and very little to you. That's preferable to the other way round!

Thanks all, I was indeed very very lucky today. Heres a brief version of events from my point of view:

I was approaching a corner with a rider in front of me, we both slowed down and I misjudged the speed of the rider in front. I realised in the corner that I was still approaching him faster than I would have liked, I applied the rear brake. I clearly applied it too firmly and the rear wheel locked kicking the back out, I released the brake and tried to recover but the bike was swinging from side to side and I could not control it. I was kicked off down the road while the bike continued into the verge.

Thats why they teach you to use both of them in lessons... ;)

In all seriousness though, glad your ok, could have been much worse.

Binky did txt me to see if I was coming along but sadly had to rag the pants off the KTM instead;)
