I'd not reccomend washign them - it tends to ruin kit. I'd maybe try and find some antibacterial spray - like the stuff you can get for shoes. This will kill the bacteria that cause the smell.

I also vote for gerbings gloves. Much better than that battery operated carp - would be bloomin annoying if the battery ran out half way through a trip. the Gerbings are bike powered, p*ss easy to fit and you don't need to remember to charge them. Lifetime guarantee on the electrical bits too so good value I think. I love mine!

Febreeze should be best for the smell

Manx matt's enforcers reaked , I think he ended up having a bath with them to shake the smell (of the gloves - he still stinks)

Yep hot grips are like palm warmers. I'm contemplating selling my klan lycra heated inner gloves if you're interested, only work on 2 weekends (away).

I bought the gerbings on 26 Nov from 3w.thebikerstore.co.uk but I still haven't heard anything from them... anyone used them before?!

No contact to say dispatched or delay in dispatch and they didn't reply to an email I sent them on Sunday (so they had all of Mon to look at it....)

PS: They have taken my money

Try a tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda (wrap it up in some thin fabric if you like). BoS is brilliant for cleaning all sorts of things...

Did you pay over £100 with a credit card?
If so, no worries you are covered by your card
