Not a bad run home, bike only conked out twice, which was once less than on the way there :)

Dear fuel system, why must we stop being friends after a mere 54,000 miles? It's true I've barely touched the system in that time, but still, I feel upset none the less.

so I'm guessing you didn't get around to draining the float bowls then jambo?

I only realised it was a Selkent dayyesterday morning when someone pointed it out and already had plans in place, so did't get back until 9pm, and was a bit knackered so just crashed out on the sofa, been a busy day.

Sadly Doris didnt want to get out of bed this morning. She run the battery flat trying to start, so i tried bumping her, still no luck. I found this out about 1/2 mile form home, so had to push her back home, up hill! Jump started her and she was ok! Thats my exercise for the year! *Huffs n puffs*

I'm of the opinion, (a feeling that will be shared by others no doubt), that Verna needs to make more cake - and give it to us obviously.

I did, but that modicum of maintenance turned up no water in the system, and didn't help so further investigation is needed.

aww i am so so glad cake was ok , it means a lot to me to do something nice for others and i really try to make best cake ever xxx so glad u got it and bar staff didn't nick it all ! xx there will be more cake any time you want it xxx
