Bah, i'm still running mine in (60 miles so far) but at least got to finally ride it again today! I'm stuck to 7500rpm during initial run-in (except on the dual carriageway today when i let it stray a bit higher. Nice!).

Lovely bikes, found its so much silkier than the SV and also seems happy to 'pootle' at low revs and still has good pull from low down like the SV did.

Also found its much comfier, I used to be really cramped up by the end of my commute on the SV but don't get the same on the 750.

Can see how you'd be buzzin' going from 33 - 148HP in a day!!

:D ive done 1100 miles now and i still get the same smile. its an awsome bike, i dont find it as comfotable as the sv, harsher on the wrist but not uncomfortable if you can understand tht. ive swapped for some pazzo style levers which has made it a bit nicer. imagin running in at 33bhp. 7.5 thou was tidious. constantly shifting gears to try and make it more, now there is loads of low down torque as you say.

what colour have you got?

Nice, exactly the same as mine! I love it to bits!! Get rid of tht number plate bracket. Not only is it ugly but I kept walking into it as it's so low. Got an r ang one eBay 20 quid. Also a tinted double bubble 22 quid Inc del on eBay. I'll send you a link if you like. Really nice for the money. Any other screens I looked at were 50+!!!! It really made the difference for me.

Yea, but the latter is the one that matters... after all, the engine can make 300bhp at the crank, but if it only gets 130 to the back wheel who cares? :smt118

Yeah but it's a good indicator, no bike makes 300 at the crank and 130 at the wheel! (crosses fingers there's no special case out there)

I haven't ridden my 750 (K8) for months now...it's in a garage lol. Been riding the CBR instead through this weather!
