Student discount ehhh? How'd you get that?

Evenings just seem short, you'll spend 3 sessions learning which way the track goes.

Oh right... I wouldda thought I might have a bit of light for the beginning.

No student discount.. I meant that I went for the cheapest on the page because I am a student, and the pound coin is holy

Ahh indeed.
Try ask around your uni, maybe they have grants for improving road safety :D

Light may be an issue this time of year but should be OK.

i'd recommend a novice only day/evening - cadwell was my first and only ever track experience and because the advanced group was full they all went in the beginners group with us lot...

The fact that cadwell is prolly one of the most technical circuits in the UK didn't really help but alot of the guys were riding like their lives depended on it. I know it's a track and it's designed for people to push their limits but novice group should mean novice group imo..

I'm looking at doing some more trackdays now and will be doing novice only no matter what = everyone on a similar sort of pace & no nobs on ducati's locking up in front of you 'cos they're trying to keep up with their mates on full on track bikes

I wouldn't be put off by hear say. All of the companies seem to have some bad stories.

I recently did a hottrax day back in march and found it to be fine.

Is track control not for the marshalls/track owner, not the event manager?

yeah this could be true tazdaz, i suppose i should just make my own opinion. after all the team that does one sight such as cadwell wont be doing the croft track so it should be different anyway.
cheers

Allan, there is a cheap and cheerful track not too far away, we could get a few of the Brizzol/Wiltshire/Swindon lot together???

http://www.llandow.com/

About £80 for the day cos it's 0.94 miles long
