Re: Swindon Dilemma.
There are also some new build developments in Malmsebury. Chippenham has a few supermarkets, so if you live somewhere on the outskirts, you'll be ok for that and can find better shopping with a 20 minute drive to Bath. Wherever you go in this area....Swindon will have the big supermarkets and a trip to Bath/Bristol will get you to the shopping centres.
One thing to consider though......GREAT roads, so what are you waiting for? ;-) |

[QUOTE=_Stretchie_;2286678]Come over to Chippenham(ish) and join the fold.
Just realised I've never actually been INTO Chippenham, just drove around/slightly through it. QUOTE] There goes the neighbourhood :p You could do a lot worse than ol Chippers, It's handy for me as it's easy commute to work in Swindon and close enough to Bath and Bristol. |
Re: Swindon Dilemma.
But you cant go, we've only just met :-(
or is that the reason why :p |

Re: Swindon Dilemma.
Marlborough is nice but ridiculously expensive. The close that you get to the M4, the more the prices go up. Calne is cheap, but there's nothing to do there at all. I quite like Devizes, it's not that expensive and a pleasant town. It's a bit further from Swindon though - about 18 miles.
