michelin road pilot 2's without a shadow of doubt. these are brilliant in the wet (probably the best I've ever used) and are very good in the dry, they last really well.

I used them on my 1050 tiger and was getting the pegs down in the wet, good under braking and stable at speed. I've started using them on my Hayabusa..

They were the more road biased Sport version - I dread to think how few miles Supersports would last

I think their downside is their price at the moment.
The rear alone was £40 more expensive than an Angel ST for a 180 tyre, at least up here.

Replaced by Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa. Great write up in Bike mag as much better than the 3's
Might be worth getting hold of a copy of the Bike Mag (Ducati Multistrada on the front) it was comparing all the current tyres.

What dont you like about them ? I have to admit I have found them a little vague in the cold and wet a bit numb in terms of feedback. But after a little while that goes away as they begin to heat and they I found that stayed pretty consistent.

As you dont get on with them though no point in buying another pair. Personally try something Sport Touring ( Z6, Strada, Storm that kind of thing ) or Go for the Corsa replacement as pointed out by Stu above. If they are like the Corsa they feel better when its cold and wet, but I found the profile was sharper and it made my bike tip over / twitchy on turn in which was a little un-nerving. Which is why I have gone back to Power 2CT's

You are just going to have to pick a set and try them its the only way you're going to find out if you get on with them or not TBH.

My own experience would lead me to suggest that you stay away from Bridgestones, I fricken hated the 014's enough to disuade me from parting with good money on any of their products again, irrational I know but there you are.

Where as I'm happy on Bridgestone BT-016s on road and track and love the BT-003s on track although the 003 wouldn't last more than 1500 miles on a road bike, Bob Bobbleton got something like that out of a set on his Blade doing trackdays, Nurburgring and road work.

Michelin Pilot Road 2CT are fine for touring on unknown roads, last ages but a little slower to turn.

They are quite expensive and the price has just gone up, quite a bit more than the BT021/023, but i wont touch bridgestones after my 021's

Really?, i really like my Pilot Power 2ct's but obviously each to their own.

Michelin claim that the Pilot Road 2's have the best wet grip (based on 120/70/17 and 180/55/17 sizes and tested by an independant tester)

Not 2ct's just pilot powers, they were put on by the previous owner, I'm guessing that 2ct's will say pilot power 2ct on the wall?
