Why not strap it to the pillion seat?Much more stable for carrying large loads...

magic mike lucky pants is gonna measure his for me - reckon I could get away with strapping the bigger of the 2 bits to the pillion seat & renntec, then the smaller bit to just the rentec maybe?

Depending how big the box it comes in is, long way starting at the pillion seat and going onto the rack and off the back of the bike? Lots of bungee's, cargo nets and ratchets are a good idea!

Watch with over loading the rack, it can snap the rear subframe if the load is too big and the mounting points are ****e. (See example 1. me)

Bear in mind that an Abba stand weights significantly less that 2 crates of Tennant's and a gallon of voddy

I find using on line tracking my parcel has been loaded on the van at 7.00 am, great the depot is only 2 miles away. why the hell is it 4pm before the van gets to my door.

Better than the Home Delivery Network - They deliver stuff a day before it's due, don't leave a note for you to check anywhere and when you contact Amazon say 'The tracker says delivered, but it wasn't there when I got home last night' it turns out the HDNL left it 'in a secure location by the bin'!

Well thats great - My bin is in a locked cupboard so can;'t be there. My recycling bin is outside that cupboard on the shared car park - So not secured then. Plus it's books and we had the mother of all storms yesterday afternoon. I'm expecting to get home to a pile of mush.
