Didnt seem too bad when I was heading through ardleigh a couple of weekends ago, Birch area just south of colchester really really bad, the farmers have made no attempt to clean up their mess.

I was behind a small ped and backed off as i really thought he might come off.

My cars nothing flash, £500 alfa :D

goood grief you lot are a right bunch o southern pooftas ;-)......we were out on Halloween, riding over Fylingdales in pitch black and pi$$y rain, followed by some freezing filtering of approximately 30 miles, on the A64 and even more freezing rain, and dark speedy ride down the A1 and M62, oh and me on a nakid bike I may add.
All in all a marvellous, fun ride to Whitby and back.....after 12 months out of the saddle.

I was more concerned with the safety aspect of drinking and driving should we go to Chelmsford than the weather.
If riding in these sort of conditions is your pleasure-------go for it.Fortunately I do not have the need to prove to myself or others my pain threshold:)

:D:D well said, id rather be a warm, dry, southern poofter. Only use my bike when its going to be enjoyable, and yeah i do commute on it, from the beginning of march until end of september.

After that why bother, i personally dont enjoy it ;)
