halfords turtle branded stuff works a treat, only needs to be applied every few days and seems to clear even the smallest drops.

Ive got rain -x, thats not very good.
Holts visor mist thingy, thats next to useless and actually down right dangerous.
Muc off visor cleaner, ok cleans averagly but doesnt stop misting.
Pink stick from the nec last year. Works but has to be applied to a clean visor after every time it gets wet and isnt that good anyways.

Ill see if i can get some visor proof!

Silicon maintenance spray or furniture polish.

Silicone is like the holts stuff. I find it gives a mottles/starburst effect in the rain tho

I used to use rain x years ago and it was really good with no visor damage on my old arai. Don't know if same "recipe" these days. It was also good on my mark one escort luckily as the wipers were useless! I used to get it from work free though which made a difference! It was used to stop bus front destination panels misting. Now use fog city insert on shoei pinlock system, brilliant even in horrendous weather.

does your fog city one stick or is it removable?

Bought some nikwax visor proof the other day after reading this thread Hein Gericke in Leeds had run out having just sold their last 12 bottles to W Yorks police, but J&S over the road came through though, and I can confirm it is a fricking revelation, having always thought that this kind of stuff is just snake oil to remove cash from bikers.

Utterly horrid rainy 6:30am trip up the motorway this morning, spray from lorries, bright headlights, worst possible conditions and did not need to wipe visor once, slight turn of head and clear again. Even when the rain was settling a bit, it was beading nicely and leaving my vision remarkably clear. I am definitely a convert (unless it turns out you need a bottle a week in the winter).

have heard mr sheen works to.

Ditto, and im ashamed to say i've had my visor in for 5+ years now.

I really should change it, can't see bugger all at night/wet as lights are stars.

But when applied, it lasts for a good 3-4 days.

Tissue to apply, rag to wipe off.
