Brake fluid - fine
Fuses - fine Discs & Pads - fine Take car for test drive - fine (ABS works, as does HDC) Take brake switch apart and clean with WD40, check connections and put back in place - Hey Presto!!! brake lights start working again. Now just got to get diagnostic lights switched off by Mr Beaumont. Cost so far £0. Result methinks |
Re: FAO Stretchie and GG
I was going to suggest turning it off and back on again[1]. ;-)
Druid [1] As in disconnect the fuse or battery, leave for 30-60sec and reconnect/replace. |
Re: FAO Stretchie and GG
Could be time to invest in a Hawkeye or something similar.
Thinking about it myself for when we get an engine in the TD5. I think if you have a Land Rover with an electronic brain this should be on your wish list, especially if you use it off road at all. Guessing it's about £50-£80 for a diagnostic check at a garage so it would probably pay for itself |
