I agree, for that kind of money you can pick up '03 & '04 plates with less than 20K miles.

have a look at this mate-its an import but you should be able to get a hundred or so off the price-if your willing to spend 1700 on a 50,000 spend the extra 200 on a 9000 miler

yeah I'd say £1,250 value, maybe £100 for the warrenty, but for that money the consumables need to be good as well.

What part of the world you based?
is this bike red by any chance?

50K is not much if its at the right price.

1700 notes will get you a bike with 20k on it. £2500 will get you a bike with less than 12k on the clock

Looks good just a little too far away. Have been keeping an eye on Ebay and seen a few going through. Just need to wait for the right one. Hoping New Year should see more options.

I need to just not panic and buy on impulse...

With miles it is not mechanicals of engine which will give you any trouble, it is mechanics of chassis bearings, and gremlins in wiring. Seized nuts and bolts can make working on them difficult too.

These can affect bikes with far less miles on them too.
