Silicon grease is a 100%, easy, cheap and invisible fix. But I still like this one. Add some more plastic, some water and a goldfish!

A well done from me too Mike. As some have said, Fender Extenders do work, but that shows some ingenuity!

You lot can be a right bunch of miserable gits sometimes, credit where credit is due.

You Saw a problem and made your own solution I do doff my cap sir. Anyone who's riden a curvy in proper rain knows of front plug syndrome and like YC you've get pi55ed enough to resolve it yourself. Might not be the most aesthetically pleasing to folk but not many protypes are.

If it does the job, it does the job. :)

Yeah I know that it's not the most "stylish" solution to the problem but it was made in about 15 minutes on my lunch break. If I had more time the alloy arm would be CNC machined, and the plate would indeed be a part of "SV Fish Tank Project". I have a transparent plexi petrol tank on order with a separate chamber for Nemo and it was meant to be extended all the way to the plate. Unfortunately now that Stu discovered my secret plan the whole project will have to be dropped.

Joke aside. It does look like attending exclusive, Tux-only dinner at Ritz, wearing tailored suit and wellingtons and carrying a pitchfork. I admit that.
In my defense I can only say that before I came up with this ingenious, revolutionary design I did order fenda extenda along with silicone, new plugs and wires as it is just about time to change those too. Done it through Wemoto and they had to request for it (fenda I mean)to be made or something, and thats why it takes a while. Should have checked other sites as well. And that day I was really fed up and frustrated about the whole problem that I just went "F... it. It'll go the minute Fenda arrives". It looks terrible which is true but it didn't cost me a penny, took only 30 minutes of my lunch (hence the aesthetics) and it does the job, which already saved the public from hearing dozens of "F***'s" and "C***'s" every time the bike stalls. I'd rather ride a bike with a "WTF??" under the radiator for a while, than endanger vulnerable minors, innocently crossing the road with a contact with extreme vulgarity, flowing fluently from under my lid in those moments.

I'll post some more pics when my transparent petrol-fishbowl tank arrives ;)

Thanks for your attention anyway guys.
