Look at the stats, I cycled 106 miles that day.

I dont think the calorie counter is 100% accurate on the garmin though...

Here are some interesting facts and figures about the Tour de France:

2,200 average.

Year that the yellow jersey was introduced: 1919
Most riders to wear yellow jersey on one Tour: 8 (1987)
Smallest margin of victory: 8 seconds (Greg LeMond over Laurent Fignon in 1989)
Fastest individual time trial: 54.545 kph (Greg LeMond in 1989 over 24.5 km)
Rest days in the 2005 Tour: 2 (July 11 and July 18)
Riders in each team: 9
Spectators expected to line the route: 15 million
Riders who will start this year: 198 (split over 22 teams)

You'd need athletic levels of fitness but I'd happily bet you were ballpark on the calories! Well done fizz! And there I was feeling proud about my 7-8 miles yesterday...

Everybody has to start somewhere, when I started cycling 2 miles to work would max my heart rate out and I was on the verge of puking when I got to work !

true, I've been there in the past when I first started exercising, now I'm stubborn and can push myself pretty far but I just need to get away from the traffic & roads if I'm gonna keep it up - really enjoyed the trail I did yesterday, shame half of it was under the river ouse!

I've used mapmyride before but the website, not tried the iphone app, but the website is pretty good TBH.

And on wiggle...

This is what I have, except I have the heart rate and cadence sensors, and I paid alot more than the price on there for it. Choose either or. If you dont want cadence, then it'll calculate the speed / distance with the GPS so you can choose the heart rate package and it'll do what you need it to...
